'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane dampens on Premier League comeback

Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his desire in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is prepared to discuss a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is presently midway through the four-year contract he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.

The veteran forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, helping them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the first significant honor of his illustrious career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane go back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England captain has now suggested that he is no longer as eager about returning home as he once was, and would seriously think about prolonging his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he commented.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different periods happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
